ALASKAN BREWING COMPANY

IPA growing in popularity and philanthropy

The Alaskan Brewing Co. has created the Coastal CODE (Clean Oceans Depend on Everyone) Alaskan IPA was recently named one of the hottest new craft brands of 2007, thanks to great Alaskan fans like you. We're excited to announce that Alaskan IPA has been so well received in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming since its release this spring that we are launching it in California this month.

Not only have the strong sales helped secure wider release of this beer, but they have also helped the Pacific Ocean and coastlines. We have given 1% of all proceeds to the Coastal CODE, which has already given grants to groups in Alaska, Oregon and California. So together we are making a difference one beer at a time with Alaskan IPA.

Toast the Tongass with Winter Ale

We're busy brewing Alaskan Winter Ale in anticipation of its October release, which is especially meaningful this year because it coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Tongass National Forest. The largest temperate rainforest in the world, the Tongass is home to many Sitka spruce trees, the tips of which are the prized ingredient for Winter Ale. So please help us toast our beloved Tongass with Alaskan Winter Ale!

Alaskan fan mail

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for the great beer. I'm in the Air Force and have seen a lot of places. I'm currently stationed in Italy and have many, many European beers. Nothing compares. It's well worth the journey home each year to have a taste. Keep it up!
