Award Winning Brewery from Juneau Expands Distribution Network into Arizona


JUNEAU, (January 4, 2005) – Alaskan Brewing Company, the most award-winning small brewery in the U.S., has reached an agreement with Pearce Beverage Company to distribute its brews throughout the Phoenix market. The two companies reached agreement in early December after a contingent of Pearce Beverage Company executives visited Alaskan Brewing Company’s brewery in Juneau. The first shipment of Alaskan Amber arrived in Phoenix in time for New Year’s Eve, and more then 50 local restaurants and clubs have already signed on to carry the brew on tap. Meanwhile, bottled Alaskan Amber will arrive soon after and be on grocery store shelves in early February.
