Alaskan Brewing Introduces Pale 12-pack Print E-mail

JUNEAU - The popularity of Alaskan Pale has inspired the brewery to introduce a 12-pack box in Alaska this June. "Pale has long been a favorite of Alaskans as evidenced by continued growth through the years," says Cindy Burchfield, Alaskan Brewing Company Marketing Administrator.

"The popularity of this golden ale as a summertime thirst quencher has driven us to make this addition for the convenience of our fans."

Alaskan Pale became Alaskan Brewing's second year-round product in 1988. Its Great American Beer Festival awards include bronze medals in 1993, 1997, 1998 and a silver in 1996 in the Golden Ale Category.

Brewmaster Geoff Larson developed the Pale as an alternative to the decidedly malty Alaskan Amber that is the flagship of Alaskan Brewing. A delicate blend of premium Pale and Munich malts contributes to the color and body of this golden ale. The aroma and bitterness are products of a special infusion of Tettnanger, Willamette and Chinook hops.

Alaskan Brewing Company distributes award-winning beers and ales throughout Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Northern California. Founded in 1986, Alaskan Brewing Company is the oldest operating brewery in the State of Alaska and is celebrating its 15th Anniversary. The Juneau-based brewery also brews Alaskan Amber, ESB and Stout year round.
