The Alaskan Brewing Company will sponsor the 1999 World Extreme Skiing Competition and the King of the Hill Extreme Snowboarding Competition this year in Valdez, Alaska. Taking on the sheer mountain faces of Valdez, Alaska, snowboarders and skiers alike are changing the face of extreme sports. This year, Alaskan Brewing will join them as a sponsor of the 1999 World Extreme Skiing Competition and the King of the Hill Extreme Snowboarding Competition. The two events run consecutively April 1 - 16 in Valdez, Alaska. Both competitions are world-renowned. The 1999 World Extreme Skiing Competition will be aired by ESPN and ESPN II.

In their continuation of everything "That's Alaskan," Alaskan Brewing captures the pulse of this emerging sport in their latest "That's Alaskan" display. Wayne Smallwood catches air over Juneau, Alaska in this full color poster and casecard. Mark Farmer, a Juneau photographer, captures the pulse of Smallwood as he bursts onto the scene in much the same way his sport has.

Displays will be placed in retail outlets in Alaska and throughout the Pacific Northwest where Alaskan is sold.
