It's an event celebrated in restaurants all over the Pacific Northwest ... the start-up in mid-May of the rich Copper River sockeye salmon season. And Alaskan Brewing is out and about helping to show that good seafood ... can be made better with good beer ... Alaskan beer!
It's an event celebrated in restaurants all over the Pacific Northwest ... the start-up in mid-May of the rich Copper River sockeye salmon season. And Alaskan Brewing is out and about helping to show that good seafood ... can be made better with good beer ... Alaskan beer!
Alaskan is doing cross-promotions in Albertson's and Quality Food Center stores all over the Pacific Northwest. Patrons will find stacks of Alaskan Amber, Pale Ale, and Frontier beers next to displays of seafood from Alaska. Peel-off recipes that combine various seafood with Alaskan products will also accompany the displays. And during this special promotion, Alaskan Brewing's backcard and poster displays will showcase fish with the beer as well.
Alaskan Brewing is also tying into efforts by the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) to promote the health benefits of fish. Studies have shown that diets high in fish have been linked to a reduced rish of heart disease, breast cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and even depression.
How could you possibly be depressed after eating delicious Alaska salmon and drinking fine Alaskan beer?
