At Alaskan Brewing, who makes our award-winning beer is as important to us as how we make our beer. That's why, for almost seven years, we've trusted Tracy with almost every aspect of our brewing process. Today, Tracy works in research and development, testing formulas and scouring over information about ways to ensure world class quality of our Alaskan Brewing products. At work, Tracy says you can find him huddled over a project with a furrowed brow and vacant stare sometimes talking to himself. With such intensity at work, you'd think he'd take it easy at home.not a chance. From home brewing, conversing with the ravens, cooking Indian food, sailing and playing the Irish drum and penny whistle, Tracy has more than enough to fill his long summer days and even longer winter nights. Even with a vast laundry list of hobbies, 49-year-old Tracy says there's still one thing he's wanted to do since he was 18: build a windmill. Since there he's scaled down his dream a bit. "Maybe I'll build a little one." Those who know Tracy say he's extremely complex, engaging and very passionate about what he does in all areas of his life. When asked what he thinks people at the brewery think of him, he responds, "a bit strange." We don't agree. Interesting? Yes. Unique? That's a given. Livin' life Alaskan? Unquestionably! |
