Ron Greene, Production Logistics: It's all about family and fun Print E-mail
Ron Greene is not a winter person, which is pretty ironic considering he lives and works in Alaska. rongreene"Some people like winters to go skiing or snowboarding, but I really like summers. It’s the perfect temperature for me," Ron added, "I like to get together with my family, barbecue and play kickball."

The Greene clan has been slowly migrating to Alaska from Oklahoma over the past 13 years. "It all started with my brother and his family. They were the first to arrive, followed by my sister eight years ago and finally, we got my Mom up here in 2006," Ron reports.

Alaskan Brewing Co. has had the good fortune of having Ron as part of their family as well. He’s worked in production logistics over the last 4years. You can usually find him managing inventory, and handling the shipping and receiving for the warehouse. The great thing about Ron is he does it all with his signature smile. Some folks around here refer to Ron as "Kid Dynamite" a moniker given to him by the crew for being the most all-around good guy. "He just always makes you feel good when you talk to him," says marketing’s Tony Hand, "he makes coming to work fun."

It would seem for Ron, the feeling for his brewery family is mutual. "I like coming to work everyday and appreciate the atmosphere at the brewery" said Ron. "The employees are never kept in the dark about how the company is doing and it’s comforting to know that Alaskan Brewing will be around for a long, long time."

Winter is finally coming to end, and as spring slowly approaches, Ron is busy making plans for the warmer weather "kickball," he says, "with an ice cold Alaskan Amber."
