3-Cheese Potatoes Au-Laskan
Ingredients
Salads & Side Dishes

·        1/2 lb. bacon

·        12oz. Alaskan Amber

·        4oz. shredded Swiss cheese

·        4oz. shredded Sharp cheese

·        4oz. shredded parmesan cheese

·        ¼ cup flour

·        ½ onion, diced

·        2 garlic cloves, minced

·        1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

·        ½ tsp. mustard powder

·        1 tsp. pepper

·        6 russet potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8 inch per slice

 

 

Methods/steps

1.     Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2.     Cook, drain and cool bacon

3.     Mix cheeses with flour

4.     Heat beer in sauce pan until steaming

5.     Add onions and garlic and cook until soft and fragrant

6.     Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper

7.     Add cheese and flour mixture and stir until completely melted

8.     Crumble bacon

9.     In a baking dish, layer half the potatoes, half the cheese sauce and half the bacon; add a second layer of the remainder potatoes, cheese sauce and bacon

10.Bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees. If the top gets too brown, cover with foil
