Alaskan Amber Pepper Prawns
Ingredients
Seafood
  • 1 bottle Alaskan Amber
  • 1 cup hot Thai chili sauce
  • 4 Tablespoons crushed fresh garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 2 lbs. large wild Alaska prawns, peeled
  • 3 bell peppers: yellow, red and green, cut into 1-inch squares
  • Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes
  •  

    Methods/steps
    1. Combine the first five ingredients in a large glass or stainless steel bowl. Stir in the prawns, cover and refrigerate overnight.
    2. Set the barbecue grill to low heat.
    3. Alternate 3 or 4 prawns with pepper pieces on skewers.
    4. Oil the grill, and cook the skewers over low heat 3 - 5 minutes on each side.
    5. Remove from the grill and serve at once with cold Alaskan Amber.
