Alaskan Baltic Porter Fudge Truffles
Description A deliciously decadent dessert from Brandon and Tiffany Smith
Ingredients
Alaskan Baltic Porter Recipes
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 Tbsp Dutch Cocoa
  • dash of salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Alaskan Baltic Porter
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
 

Methods/steps
  1. Combine sugar, cocoa, salt, heavy cream and 1/2 cup Baltic Porter in a large pan.
  2. Boil mixture until it reaches a soft ball consistency (approx. 240 degrees).
  3. Quickly move to a standing mixer and add a splash of Baltic Porter, vanilla and butter while mixing.
  4. While mixing, add an additional splash of Baltic Porter to taste and desired consistency.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Roll into 1 inch balls and dip in high-quality melted bittersweet chocolate.
  7. Cool and serve.
