Alaskan ESB Hummus
Ingredients
Appetizers & Snacks
  • 2 15.5 oz. Cans garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp raw sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup (3 oz.) Alaskan ESB
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  •  

    Methods/steps
    Drain chickpeas. Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender and blend until smooth. You may add additional beer as necessary to achieve desired consistency. Serve as a dip for vegetables, on pita or crackers as appetizers.
    Makes about 3 cups.

    Hummus has been a favorite munching dip in the Brew Crew break room for some time. This recipe really brings some of the things we love all together. Simple and quick enough for last minute guests, potlucks or just for those long winter nights!
