Alaskan Stout Pecan Pie
Ingredients

  • 1 single pie crust
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 3/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. Alaskan Stout
  • 1 c. pecan halves
  •  

    Methods/steps
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a pie plate with a single crust pie dough. Bake 5 to 7 minutes and remove. Reduce the oven to 350 degrees. Combine and thoroughly beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter, syrup, and Alaskan Stout. Stir in pecans and fill the pie shell. Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm or cold with Stout Flavored Whipped Cream.
    Stout Flavored Whipped Cream (whip one pint of heavy whipping cream with 4 T. of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup Alaskan Stout)
