Alaskan Stout Steamed Clams
Ingredients
Seafood
  • ¼ cup carrots, grated
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 oz. Alaskan Stout
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 lbs. Steamer clams
  •  

    Methods/steps
    In a covered saucepan, melt butter then simmer carrots and onions on low heat for 10 minutes. Add Alaskan Stout and water and simmer 10 minutes more. Add clams and cook for 3 minutes. Turn heat to medium for 2 minutes. Remove clams immediately and serve.
    Note: Do NOT serve clams that have not opened during the cooking process.
