Alaskan White Ale Beer Balls
Ingredients
Appetizers & Snacks
Meat & Poultry

·        1 ½ lb ground beef

·        1/3 cup yellow onions (minced)

·        1 pkg. McCormick Swedish Meatball mix

·        2-12 oz. Alaskan White Ales

·        2 ½ cups chopped white mushrooms

·        1 cup heavy cream

·        1 T butter

 

Methods/steps

Sauté mushrooms in butter. Marinate in 12 oz. beer for at least 4 hours.

Beer balls:
Mix ground beef, onions, Swedish meatball seasoning mix, ½ cup beer, ¾ marinated mushrooms and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Sauce:
½ cup mushrooms, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup beer and McCormick sauce mix. Whisk over medium heat until smooth and bubbly. Add meatballs to sauce and enjoy! Can also be served as main dish if you add noodles.
