Amber Chile Pork Roast
Ingredients
Meat & Poultry
  • one 6 pound pork roast
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup catsup
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Thai chile paste
  • 1 bottle Alaskan Amber
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
     

    Methods/steps
    Liberally salt and pepper the roast. Place in a large roasting pan. Sprinkle with diced onions and garlic.
    Mix catsup, sugar, chile past and Alaskan Amber. Pour sauce over roast.
    Cook roast, uncovered, at 375 degrees to about 20 minutes per pound. Remove, slice and enjoy with Alaskan Amber.
