Amber Linguine & Clam Sauce
Ingredients

  • 5 - 10 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 bottle Alaskan Amber Beer
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cup chopped steamed clams
  • 1 cup whole steamed clams
  • juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup clam juice
  • freshly ground pepper

    Methods/steps
    Saute garlic and onion in oil until soft. Add 1/2 bottle of Alaskan Amber Beer and parsley. Reduce to half. Add chopped clams and remaining beer, reduce to half. Add whole clams, clam juice and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add fresh lemon juice and pepper to taste.
    Serve over fresh cooked linguine with Alaskan Amber to accompany your meal.
