Butternut Squash in Alaskan Pale Maple Glaze
Ingredients

  • 5 cups butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cubed
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 3 Tablespoons dark maple syrup or molasses
  • ½ cup Alaskan Pale
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  •  

    Methods/steps
    Steam squash over boiling water using a steamer basket, until almost tender. About 20 to 25 minutes.

    Brown butter in large skillet over low heat until aromatic and nutty. Add squash, maple syrup and Alaskan Pale. Stir and cook until fully tender. Season to taste. Serve as a side dish to any hearty winter fare!
