Crockpot Potroast with Alaskan Amber
Ingredients
Meat & Poultry
  • (1) 3-5 lb chuck roast
  • kosher salt to taste
  • 4-6 large red potatoes, quartered
  • 6-8 carrots (sliced or chunked as you prefer)
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • (Walla Walla sweet onions are great)
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 bottle of Alaskan Amber
  •  

    Methods/steps
    Lightly rub roast with salt & place in crockpot.
    Add potatoes, carrots, onions, & garlic on top of roast.
    Add 2-3 dashes of kosher salt on top of everything.
    Pour Alaskan Amber over top of roast and vegetables.
    Turn on crockpot & cook for 8-10 hours. The longer you cook it, the more
    tender the meat is.

    Tastes great with Alaskan Amber, Alaskan Stout, & Alaskan ESB. Another tasty
