Moose/Cabbage Casserole (low-cal)
Ingredients
Meat & Poultry
  • 1 small head cabbage
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef, moose or venison
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 cup Alaskan Stout
  •  

    Methods/steps
    Chop cabbage; place in greased baking dish. Brown meat and onion in heavy skillet over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in uncooked rice. Pour over cabbage. Mix soup and beer in small bowl and pour evenly over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Check during cooking and add water if needed to keep from drying out. Serve with roasted potatoes or vegetables and Alaskan Stout.
