Smoked Porter Ham Glaze
Ingredients
Meat & Poultry
  • 1 ham
  • 1 16 oz. bottle Alaskan Smoked Porter
  • Glaze:
  • ½ cup Alaskan Smoked Porter
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon coriander, ground
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest or orange peel, dried
  • ½ teaspoon cloves, ground
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  •  

    Methods/steps
    Pour one bottle Smoked Porter over ham and bake as directed, removing ½ hour before end of cooking time. Drain liquid.
    To prepare glaze, combine all the glaze ingredients into a small saucepan and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour over ham and bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Serve with sweet potatoes and glasses of Alaskan Smoked Porter.
