1.19.10 Hey, I took this picture last summer while vacationing in my home state of Montana, I thought you would enjoy it. Happy New Year.

Dear Alaskan,
In 2005 I purchased several bottles of your Smoked Porter in order to do a vintage tasting. We have done so faithfully each year and will conclude our series next year when we compare the ‘05 to the ‘10. So far this year was our favorite, the four year aged ‘05 was great, some good notes released and a very smooth and pleasing experience. I found an ‘06 that I had so next year we’ll conclude with the last ‘05, the ‘06 and the ‘10. We’ve done our tastings in Colorado and Washington with the original ‘05 beers coming from California before you came to Colorado. This year we did our comparison on Vashon Island, Washington. Thanks!

To whom it may concern: I just want to send a hearty THANK YOU for distributing several of your beers to Colorado. After experiencing your fantastic brews (particularly the Amber) on a trip to Alaska in 2003, I have been on the prowl to locate the nearest distributor to me in Denver. At least once a year since then, I would drive up to Cody, Wyoming and buy as much Alaskan Amber as I could afford, as that was the furthest south you shipped at the time. I was ecstatic to discover that in February 2008, you had arrived in Colorado! I have since gotten many of my friends hooked on your tasty beer!
Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Hi Folks: Just a short note about my discovery of your wonderful ale. While on our inland Alaskan Cruise we were encouraged by friends to try Alaskan Amber so while in Ketchikan, I tasted my first glass of your ale. In my 64 years I have indeed quaffed a few brews and this is a pretty powerful statement but Alaskan Ale is by far the finest tasting beer I have ever consumed! I spent 13 of my 26 years of military life overseas with 3 of those years in Germany, more in the Far East and needless to say, tasted many a good beer. Be proud of what you brew and it shall now be the only beer in my house..........PERIOD.
A true convert,

Hello, About five years ago my Wife and I were in the Seattle area, and luckily we came across your beer. Ever since then we mentioned how nice it would be to have Alaskan Amber again. My wife was talking beer with one of her co-workers, and he had friends coming to Green Bay for the Packer game from Montana. So for my birthday she arranged for them to bring me (6) 12 packs! I was out driving my hotrod one last time before putting away before winter hits, and she surprised me with the Alaskan Amber as I returned. Thanks for the great beer. Just wish there were seven per pack, one for each day of the week.

I just wanted to let you know that I am a true fan of your beer. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I've been exposed to some great micro-beers. That said, none compare to the quality, consistency, and perfection of your Alaskan Amber. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to making the finest beer I've ever tasted!

Was just up in your neck of the woods in late May early June. I lived with people in Oregon from Eagle River, AK and they always talked about your beer and we would drink it from time to time in Eugene. Mostly the Amber as this was 1988. I must say the Pale and the Summer Ale are KILLER!
I am surrounded by beer and can get anything I want. The Summer Ale needs to be produced all year - period.
It is just so so tasty! Cheers and keep up the good work!

I recently visited your facility in Juneau & was very impressed with the building, the staff, & of course the beer. I have been drinking your beer for many years & I was really excited about seeing your facility. I forget the gentlemen's name that gave the talk about your beer and brewing the beer, but I will never forget how smart, funny, & how much he knew about beer. He had a long grey beard and holds a beer bottle upside down in pictures.
Thank you for making such a wonderful assortment of beers. I am proud to be an Alaskan, drinking an Alaskan beer.
Sincerely, Keith W. Graham Anchorage, Alaska

Hi, I just wanted to thank you guys at ABC for beginning to get your guys' beers into Colorado. I just moved to Denver from Juneau in January, and I was really sad to realize that one more piece of Alaska that I had to leave behind was the Amber Ale. After working in Rendezvous and getting free Amber on tap every weekend, I was extremely reminiscent of the times when Amber Ale was so easy to come by. I was about to drive up to Gillette, Wyoming this weekend, when I popped into my local liquor store and it felt like a punch in the face when I saw ABC Amber stocked on the shelf! By a punch in the face, I mean it felt like the sweetest, happiest punch in the face, but a complete shock nonetheless. Then I noticed it at the top of the list at the local Buffalo Wild Wings. In short, I just want to seriously thank you guys for- however it was done- beginning to supply Colorado with your brews, cause damn they're good and damn I really did miss them. I still miss Juneau though, but it's a little easier now that I can throw back bottles of Amber. Plus, it's warmer here. Sorry.
Sincerely, Avi Keller
PS. Keep up the good work!! Even with as many breweries as are along the Front Range in Colorado, I've only found one flavor that even compares to you guys. Like I said, keep up the good work!!!!

Hi to all ! My wife and I spent a week in Kodiak last year photographing bears in the remote location of Karluk Lake, and each evening when we were back to the camp from our daily trip, we didn't have a warm bed nor a "massage SPA" but our spirit was full because even in a such remote location it was always an ALASKAN AMBER waiting for us to be drunken around a table sharing the daily story with guides and the other guests.
ALASKAN AMBER as been a part of our Alaskan journey and we want to drink it again but in ITALY where we live it seems it is not distributed. Can you help me in finding a Italian dealer, or if it is possible to buy ALASKAN AMBER on the web ?
I appreciate a lot your help

I can't believe I've been sipping Alaskan Smoked Porter in Boulder, Colorado for the last few weeks, in the comfort of my own home. This used to take a flight to Anchorage . The weight of my luggage will be down on my return from now on.
Now I can savor the taste of Smoked Porter while sitting at home in Colorado!!! Hopefully I'll be able to find the other subtleties of life soon, if they even matter. Alaskan Smoked Porter....yes, yes, yes. Thank you Alaskan Brewing Co.
I make it up to Alaska about twice a year (in March to volunteer for the Iditarod ) and again usually in the "fall", which lasts a couple weeks (the first two weeks in September). As soon as I deplane and rent a car, the first thing I do is stop at the first business establishment that I know carries the Smoked Porter (not all the stores do). After the procurement of a few bombers, I proceed to my berth for the night, but usually only after stopping at "Soprano's Pizza and Philly Steaks" on Spenard to pick up a pizza or a Philly cheesesteak. They're usually open until about 3:30 AM, so no rush. When I finally got to my accommodations for the night, I enjoy an exquisite meal, courtesy of Soprano's but mostly because of the beverage I had to accompany it. (The Philly's are awesome, though!)
After my initial Quest to seek out the this fabled Smoked Porter, I settle into the other wonderful Alaskan brews. Other than the Amber (which is now available in abundance here, and ), I really enjoy the ESB. Your IPA took my taste buds to a new dimension. Your Winter Ale was still around in March.
The flavor of Spruce Tips made me guilty that I hadn't donated my Xmas Tree to the Nome National Forest.
So welcome to Colorado!!! If you're not selling enough, let me know and I'll start drinking more. I'm hoping to see your full offering before too long.
The availability of your brews will not affect the frequency of my trips to Alaska. Hope to be up there in a couple of months.

 Hello,
A friend and I were recently up in Alaska (she from North Carolina, myself from Montana) and went into Denali for about a week. As we were double-checking to make sure we had everything, we decided we would pack beer in, as well. We chose Alaskan White as our trip companion. I took this picture as we were waiting for the camper bus. When I looked back through them all, I thought it was just too good not to show you. I hope you can open this, because it really is a great picture. Thanks for bringing us such a great-tasting brew!
