Friday, September 17 Denver Rare Beer Tasting http://www.pintsforprostates.org/?p=580
The first annual Denver Rare Beer tasting was the talk of the 2009 GABF. This year's event, presented by All About Beer Magazine and a fundraiser for the Pints for Prostates campaign, will bring together 26 of America's top craft brewers to share a rare beer for the tasting, some of which are not available to the public or are vintage-aged brews no longer for sale.
This year, the Alaskan Brew Crew brought down a keg of our 2009 Barrel-Aged Smoked Porter- one of our ‘Rough Draft' experimental brews traditionally only available in Alaska. A total of 500 tickets were available for the event, which is designed to be an intimate affair allowing guests to taste exotic beers in a casual atmosphere and talk with the men and women who brewed them.
Saturday, September 18 Beer and Seafood Throwdown from the 49th and 50th States GABF Beer and Food Pavilion, 7:30 pm - 8:30pm http://www.greatamericanbeerfestival.com/beer-beyond/beer-and-food-pavilion/
