Wednesday, Oct. 7:

ATIA Community Night and After Party in downtown Juneau

At 6 p.m., take over the Alaska Tourism Industry Association trade show reception at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center, then head over to the Hangar on the Wharf at 9 p.m. for an after party with DJ Shasta of LA and international MC Esjay. Music and dancing until close, with no cover.

Saturday, Oct. 10:

Reel Rock Film Tour and Silent Auction at Centennial Hall at 7 p.m.

Join the Rock Dump at Centennial Hall to view the Reel Rock Film Tour, a traveling film festival highlighting a compilation of outdoor adventure films. The event costs $ 20 and there will be a silent auction fundraiser, with 100 percent of proceeds going to ensure the Rock Dump can stay open.

Saturday, Oct. 17:

Alaska Day Half Marathon and 5k Fun Run in Wrangell

The Southeast Beasts will host this Wrangell half marathon and fun run, in line with their mission to empower healthy lifestyles. The event will also raise money and awareness for the Cancer Care Fund. For more information, email southeastakbeasts@gmail.com.

Friday, Oct. 9:

Eagle River Brewfest at the Eagle River Lion’s Club from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $50 in advance and can be purchased online at brownpapertickets.com. There will be a silent and live auction. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club.

Saturday, Oct. 10:

Bodega-Fest at the Anchorage Aviation Heritage Museum from 3-8 p.m.

A tasting of high-end beer, mead and cider, five local musical acts and delicious food all amid vintage airplanes and Alaskan memorabilia. Tickets are $35 in advance and can be purchased at La Bodega or at bodegafest.com.

Saturday, Oct. 17:

Mighty Matanuska Brewfest at Raven Hall, Alaska State Fairgrounds, at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $30, include tickets for 20 3-oz. samples, and can be purchased online at etix.com.

Valdez Oktoberfest at the Valdez Civic Center at 7 p.m.

An evening of fun, food, beer, music, dancing, live action and more. Tickets are $35 (includes dinner and a beer) and can be purchased at the Valdez Convention and Visitors Bureau and A Rogue’s Garden. Catered by Chocolate Gypsy.

Sunday, Oct. 25:

Alaskan Brewing Beer Dinner at the Bradley House at 5 p.m.

Five courses paired with Alaskan Beer, by reservation only. Reserve through your server or bartender.

An all day event featuring Alaskan Pumpkin Ale. Enjoy beer with the animals at the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek Michigan. Tickets are $45 to taste, $25 for designated drivers, and an additional $20 to access the VIP tent.

Flying Saucer Austin Beerfeast at Flying Saucer Austin from 2-6:30 p.m.

Flying Saucer’s 8th annual BeerFeast is $35 in advance or $45 at the door if available. We’ll be pouring some delicious Alaskan Beer.

San Antonio Beer Fest at Maverick Park from 1:30-6:30 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from this festival, featuring more than 300 beers from more than 85 breweries, including Alaskan Brewing Co., will benefit the San Antonio Food Bank. More information available online. Tickets range from $35-80, plus a handling fee, on sale now online.

Sigel’s Craft Brew Festival in Dallas from 1-5 p.m.

Sigel’s will hold a beer festival at their #4 store at 3209 Fitzhugh N., and Alaskan Brewing will be pouring.

Wednesday, Oct. 21:

Alaskan Brewing Co. Night at Flying Saucer Austin  at 7 p.m.

Buy the beer, keep the glass! Alaskan Brewing Co. will be serving Hopothermia. Supplies are limited, so arrive early.

 

California

Saturday, Oct. 10:

University of California, Davis, Brewfest at Aggie Stadium from 1-8 p.m.

Sample craft beer and catch UCD’s homecoming game. Bill will be pouring Amber and Icy Bay IPA. Prices vary and are available at UCD’s website.

Wine, Beer and Spirits Golf Classic and Poker Tournament at Pechanga Resort and Casino

Enjoy Alaskan Beer while golfing in the SoCal Food Industries Circle Wine, Beer and Spirits Golf Classic. This special event is a great opportunity for industry partners to raise money and awareness for City of Hope while enjoying a beautiful day on the golf course. Friday, Oct. 23:

Schooners Patio Grill Annual Golf Tournament  at Rancho Vista Golf Club at 9 a.m.

Each year, Schooners Patio Grille in Lancaster, CA gives back to its community through an annual golf tournament. This year the tournament’s proceeds will benefit The Painted Turtle. Participants will play in foursomes at $125 per golfer. Registration and breakfast will be at 7 a.m. at Schooners Patio Grille. Saturday, Oct. 24:

Pleasanton Halloween Brew Crawl from 4:30-8 p.m.

Start at the Firehouse Arts Center and stroll (or crawl) through Downtown Pleasanton, sipping on craft brews and tasty bites, served at 25+ locations. Tickets can be purchased online in advance for $35, or $40 after Oct. 16.

Fall Wine & Brew Festival at The Ridge Golf Club from 5-9:30 p.m.

Support Seniors First by attending the 20th Annual Wine & Brew Fest at the Ridge Golf Club and Events Center in Auburn.  Tickets for the event, which features a silent auction, are available for $50 in advance online. At the door, tickets are $60, group rates are $40 per person, and designated drivers get in for $25. Alaskan Brewing Co. has sponsored a hole and will be pouring Alaskan Amber.

BierBuzz Masquerade at Industry Hills Expo Center from 5-9 p.m.

Costumes and Craft Beer go so well together. BierBuzz will host its fourth annual BierBuzz Masquerade, Southern California’s first costume craft beer festival. BierBuzz Masquerade takes everything you like about craft beer festivals and offers a ghoulish and exciting twist. Costumes are encouraged at this 21+ charity event, benefiting Pints for Pitties. San Diego Beer & Music Festival at Liberty Station from 6-10 p.m.

The San Diego Beer and Music Festival celebrates craft beer and live music. The event is a collaborative effort of #rockstarbeer Productions, FM 94/9, and many craft breweries combining to raise money for San Diego nonprofit Just Call us Volunteers. Get more information and buy tickets online.

Great Tucson Beer Festival at Kino North Soccer Stadium from 6-10 p.m.

The Great Tucson Beer Festival is an evening of beer tasting, nibbling on morsels of excellent food provided by local eateries, plus entertainment – the band 80’s and Gentlemen headlines.  There’s lots of additional entertainment, including a Halloween costume contest among other things!
