Get wild with a night of trivia and beer at the Alaska Zoo in Anchorage. Open to teams of four people at $100 per team, contestants can expect an educational
trivia night with multiple rounds of challenging questions, beer, food and fun. Each participant will receive a souvenir Untamed Mason jar for sampling brews. More information available online.

Grape v. Grain Dinner at Fat Ptarmigan in Anchorage from 8-10 p.m.

What better way to kick off AK Beer Week than to enjoy a special dinner put on by Chef Guy. This five-course dinner will pit beer against wine to answer an age old question of which pairs better. Beers from Alaskan Brewing Co. will go up against wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle Wine Estates wines from all over the world. Dinner is $75 per person and seating is limited.

Friday, Jan. 15

Hop Turn IPA sampling at Eagle River Ale House from 6-9 p.m.

The Brew Crew is at it again, this time in the Heart of Eagle River. Come over to the Eagle River Ale House at 6 pm to have a pint and sample the newest offering, Hop Turn IPA.

Monday, Jan. 18

Hop Turn IPA sampling at The Lakefront from 6-8 p.m.

At the Lakefront Hotel, you can always sample Alaskan Brewing Co.’s most unique offerings. Stop by to sample our Spring Seasonal, Hop Turn IPA.

Cruise on out to the Valley, We will be kicking off AK Beer week right, sampling the new Hop Turn IPA, and passing out pint glasses to take home. The crew will be there at 6 pm.

Hop Turn IPA sampling at Avenue from 10-11 p.m.

Join the Crew at the Avenue for $4 Pints and sample the New Hop Turn IPA, We will be checking out some videos of the infamous Jeremy Jones and giving away his creatively designed split board.

Thursday night at the Pio! Sample our brand new Hop Turn German-style IPA! The Brew Crew will stop by at 10pm.

St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour at River’s Edge Convention Center from 1-5 p.m.

Do you like beer? Perfect, because the St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour is back! This is the third year for this event, but this year there will be even more beer! There will be 60 breweries and 15 cideries, totalling nearly 250 different brews, including many specialty brews that you cannot get anywhere else. Tickets to this event are available NOW, while supplies last. Last year we nearly sold out and expect tickets to go fast, so do not miss the area’s premier Beer Festival. VIP is 1-2pm and general admission 2-5pm.

St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour After Party at Cowboy Jack’s St. Cloud

Come join us after the St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour for special Alaskan Brews on draft and for a meet and greet with brewery rep Bianca Burbank.

Mankato Craft Beer Expo at the Verizon Wireless Center from 2-6 p.m.

The expo will showcase the offerings of craft breweries in Minnesota, as well as from across the United States. Attendees at the expo will have the opportunity to sample beers from over 40 different craft breweries in a commemorative sampling glass. In addition, enjoy education seminars, live music, and food vendors. With brewery and distributor representatives on hand to answer questions, attendees will be able to have an enjoyable and educational experience learning about beer, its components, and flavors. Happy Harry’s Beer and Bacon Festival at the Alerus Center Arena at 4 p.m.

Happy Harry’s Beer and Bacon Festival is the region’s original beer and bacon event and will again bring many delicious beers and bacon dishes together. The event will feature 12+ local restaurants that will showcase numerous bacon dishes. The restaurants will be competing for the Squealer Award for the crowd favorite bacon happy harry'sdish.  The event will also offer samples of approximately 100 different craft beers. All samples are included in the price of admission.

Blind Joe, a 33-year-old Kindred, N.D. native, who made it to the top 32 contestants in this past season of “The Voice,” a singing competition on NBC, also will perform during the eventThe event will take place at Alerus Center on Saturday January 30, 2016. VIP Session will begin at 3 p.m. and the general session will start at 4 p.m. More information available online.

Featuring an array of events, Yaga’s Chili and Beerfest opens its public chili sampling and VIP beer tasting at noon. Sacramento’s fifth annual Winterfest attracts some of the finest craft beer, wine, and food tastings from the greater Sacramento area.  Unlimited tastings, accompanied by excellent music, photo booths, games, and raffle prizes, create a unique opportunity for your enjoyment.  All of this supports a great cause — getting Sacramento’s youth off of the couch and Moving Into Life!
