December Gallery Walk First Friday at the Alaskan Brewing Depot from 4:30-7 p.m.
Join us for one of Juneau’s biggest nights of the year for a live musical performance from a Juneau Symphony ensemble and, of course, beer. We’ll be pouring Seasonal Winter Ale, Rough Draft Kicker Session IPA and Pilot Series Heritage Coffee Brown Ale.

Smoked Porter Vintage Vertical Tasting at Alaskan Brewing Co. Tasting Room from 5-7 p.m.
Guided tastings at 5 and 6 p.m. of Smoked Porter vintages from the last 15 years, $5, must be at least 21 to participate.
Saturday, Dec. 19
Rail Jam hosted by Eaglecrest Ski Area and Louie’s at Marine Park in Juneau at 4:30 p.m.
Eaglecrest Ski Area and Louie’s Douglas Bar will host a rail jam competition at Marine Park in downtown Juneau, with local skiers and snowboarders displaying their skills. Eaglecrest staff and volunteers will haul a truckload of snow into downtown and create a terrain park. Similar in design to a skate park, this feature will be just for skiers and snowboarders, using snow, scaffolding, ramps, and 15-foot wooden box. Local riders are encouraged to click in to their skis and snowboards and hone their skills for the upcoming winter!
The competition will run from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m., but there will be food, beer and wine, and representation from local businesses throughout the event. Alaskan Winter and Freeride APA in cans will be on special, and one lucky winner will receive a custom Alaskan Brewing x Jones Snowboard.
