Alaskan Brewing Announces IRONMAN Alaska Sponsorship

JUNEAU, AK (July 22nd, 2022): At the beginning of August, 1,300 world-class athletes will descend upon Juneau for an unprecedented sporting competition: the 2022 Ironman Alaska. As Alaska’s first Ironman triathlon event, the race promises to turn Juneau’s majestic trails, mountains and lakes into a battleground for jaw-dropping athleticism. Sharing the trails with Alaska’s wildlife such as black tail deer, hoary marmot and one curiously fit bear, athletes will compete in a triathlon consisting of a 2.4-mile swim (3.9K), 112-mile bike ride (180.2K), and 26.2-mile run (42.2K). We’re thirsty just thinking about it!

This year the Alaskan Brewing Company has teamed up with the IRONMAN to support some of Alaska’s finest athletes with some of Alaska’s finest brew. The festivities will begin at the beginning August, with Alaskan hosting the Captain’s Dinner for IRONMAN staff and volunteers. However, the brewery will be bringing the IRONMAN into the market with special edition pint glasses, beer koozies and maybe even a special celebratory beverage. On race day, participants and onlookers will be able to enjoy a full range of Alaskan beers at the finish line’s VIP tent in addition to many other goodies and special offers.
